I also quite liked dying breed . Its been done before but i have a thing for outdoors style horrors.

Pig Hunt and Van Dieman's Land being the best two i have seen recently.

Paint Ball was by far the worst.

Thumbs up for Dying Breed from me too -- there are some very good Australian horror films around.

Its not really a horror as such, but it can be quite a gruelling viewing experience.

In case anyone's interested, other "outdoors" horrors i rate are -

Rogue
Wilderness
The Backwoods - Gary Oldman, not the pg flick with Hayley Duff.
Manhunt
High Lane (aka Vertiges)
Dead Wood
The Ruins
Severance

and two that have been hammered in other threads

Wrong Turn (and part 2)
Cabin Fever

it certainly is, its Norwegian.

Norway has produced Manhunt, Cold Prey 1,2,and soon to be 3, along with Dead Snow - top quality output.

The rest of that list are Australian, British, Spanish and French efforts with only The Ruins being a US production - but even that is set in South America.
It would seem America lags behind in quality horror films.
