I'm not sure I got it either. I thought I got it up until the last 40 minutes or so but then I just totally lost it. It was a very good film visually though.

That person behind the winkies restaurant was actually pretty startling!

I like it when the Hat Squad discover Jennifer Connolly has been thrown out of the plane and onto the desert below.

Just watched CREEPSHOW...

Liked it a hell of a lot...it was so great to see Stephen King, Hal Holbrook, Tom Atkins, Leslie Nielsen, Ted Danson, Ed Harris, & even a cameo at the end by Tom Savini all in 1 film together, however brief their parts. I liked the little 'in-jokes' too, like how the crate containing the monster from the Antarctic had 'Julia Carpenter' written on it, surely a reference to John Carpenter's film THE THING which was released the same year. And also that episode starred Adrienne Barbeau who was Carpenters wife at the time.

Top film! 9/10
BD had super PQ too so 8/10 for that

isnt the first part supposed to be "the dream"? regardless still one of my favourite cinema experiences, as are all his films....except the scifi one....

also watched Paranormal Activity with the commentary, this was the theatrical print...ie with titles etc, with the Spielberg ending, NOW i see where they spawned this se/prequel from...hmmm.

I have the region 1 dvd and the basic region 2 dvd. I'm thinking of getting the special edition, or it could possibly be my first Blu-ray purchase.

The first part is supposed to be the dream, and then the ending is the reality. I thought the dream part was more plausible than the reality in the end.
