Just watched The Bird With The Crystal Plumage BU bluray. As good as I remember. One of Argento's best!

Definitely, but its probably worth a rental first. Just make sure you have 90 minutes free one evening when you are wide awake and can give it your full attention!

I watched Anti-Clock a few days ago Nos - not exactly a 'beer and curry' movie, is it?

Very strange indeed, but you can't really take your eyes off it.

I've not seen "Anti Clock" but I have seen another film by Jane Arden, "The Other Side of the Underneath" which plays like a female only, anti psychiatry, Jodorowsky film set on a Welsh slag heap! It's equal parts bonkers and exploitative, especially the scenes featuring people with learning difficulties and travellers. That said it's never less than fascinating, especially the group therapy scenes which were shot for real with all the actors on acid!

It's well worth your time and money, and shows that Britain can be as weird and freaky as the rest of the world.

That's the only Puppet Master film I've seen as I was unaware of the series until Axis of Evil was made available for review. I really want to watch the others but I just don't have time at the moment.

Cool, I'll have to give it a watch as you make it sound challenging.

It's certainly challenging! As I forgot to send it back to Lovefilm, I may give it another viewing this afternoon before putting it in the mail.
