My girlfriend and I have spent our evenings over the last 2 weeks watching the Friday The 13th films. Just finished watching part 9, only a few to go! The question is, do we include Freddy Vs. Jason?

Sort of, but not really, if you get my meaning. You may as well just to round it off, wouldn't bother with the remake though.

I have the same box set, tend to probably watch it all every 18 months or so.

I've seen FvJ before but she hasn't, so we're going to have to include it! Managed to pick the remake up on Blu ray for cheap, so we're watching that too!

Next up...

Yeah, Jason X is by far the wittiest and cleverest of the sequels. And probably the best made of all of them. Top fun,and it came as a breath of fresh air after the decades of preceding awfulness of the series.

I just seen Trust, a drama about a internet pedo who grooms and rapes a 14 year old girl and the girl thinks he is in love with her. its directed by david schwimmer (yes ross from friends ) and stars clive oven.

Now dont let the director fool you! This was a VERY good and slightly disturbing movie (subject matter) that was well made for a actor and very good acting all round. It does not have a final ending so to speak so some people may not like that but all around it was a very decent movie with quite a bit of emotion.

Watched Coffin Joe's This Night I'll Possess Your Corpse last night and really enjoyed it. The Coffin Joe films are excellent and incredible nightmarish. Highly recommended.

Cool

Saw 'IP Man' on film4 last night, good story of the early life of Bruce Lee's teacher and mentor. Very good fight scenes mixing Karate against Kung-Fu. More old school than todays other wire work and CGI heavy martial-arts flicks. He was not someone to mess with. I'll post some grabs later tonight on the film stills thread.

Watched "Dying Breed" last night. I thought it was superb, with great performances, good story and good dialogue. If you've never seen it, it's an Aussie movie about backwoods cannibals.
