Last night I watched Bloody Birthday for the first time. All was going well until for some unknown reason the image was replaced by green/blue blocks! Faulty DVD from Anchor Bay? Tut tut tut - it was brand new - never been played before. It didn't even work at all on my Xbox so I doubt it was the player. Looks like I'll be sending it back. Oh well, what I saw of the film I really enjoyed - both fun and innovative (nice twist to the slasher sub-genre). Recommended - based on what I saw, of course.

just finished watching The Social Network and really enjoyed it, Fincher's direction is spot on and Jesse Eisenberg is brilliant as the founder of Facebook. Justin Timberlake is also pretty good. Highly recommend this...

I thought Frozen was really good. So simple a premise that If you tried to describe it to someone, they'd probably go, yeah sounds really interstiing! And it would be their loss for giving it a miss. Watched Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins for the umpteenth time. The old age makeup on Joel Grey is one of the best I've ever seen. It's one of the only times that I've ever seen someone they way they really look after watching a film and being amazed that they weren't really an old man!
