I haven't read the comic books but, if you like them and have any appreciation for the DC comic books, I would avoid the film like the plague as it is a complete mess and utterly clueless attempt at making a film and will only make you angry!

it was rubbish, 78 minutes long which in my book is barely a film, no point what so ever to megan Fox's character and what John Malkovich was doing in this is beyond me. It's a shame as it's written by Nevildine and Taylor who did the crank films and Gamer who were apparently fired by James Brolin and an uncredited script re-write was done. Great to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan in it though even if his part was only 2 minutes long. An utter waste of time.

I'm glad that I didn't buy it, only rented the Blu-ray out of morbid curiosity!

Recently watched Urban Legend 2, My Cousin Vinny and Alien.
I have to admit this was the first time I have ever seen Alien But I quite liked it and was surprised at how hot Sigourney Weaver is in it

I had some Guinness and watched Piranha (2010) in glorious 2D last night. A good time was had, really good fun despite some lazy CGI trying to spoil it.

re: I think Piranha (2010) will go down in history as a guilty pleasure. It is certainly one of mine ... and I too stuck to glorious 2D!

In saying that, I threw MBV on blu in and out of curiousity put the anaglyph (red green) 3D on and I was surprisingly impressed how the depth worked! Of course it wasn't great, but the best of it's type I have seen. I normally moan as it is just a way of selling a disk and a complete waste of time and money, but this was a little better. I did however turn it off after 10 minutes as the headache began to appear.

Rest Stop! Ah yeah that was pretty dull from memory.
I have yet to see the Piranha remake, but it does look kinda fun!

Not watched any films today - spent the evening with my other half and finished off the 4th season of Dexter on DVD!

Beast in space What a piece of poo...but enjoyable poo!! Cheap as hell but very entertaining. I kinda expected that i would hate this but all the way through kept thinking that I defo would watch this again. The unveiling of the beast is up there with Darth Vader's unmasking. Legend!!!

Splinter Thought this was pretty good. Some decent 'real' fx in this. It kept my attention all the way but the cliche'd characters drove me mental. The baddie started off all Krug nasty and then turned into a Spiderman baddie who only does bad things to help old ladies.
