And to think that was directed by the guy who did the classic HOUSE, WARLOCK & some of the FRIDAY 13th sequels at the start of his career. Seems his career has taken a nosedive since then

I don't actually mind the film and think it is a well constructed slasher, but the thing that sticks in my craw is that they've bizarrely changed Michael Myers as a psychopath who has fixated on Laurie Strode (probably because she reminds him of the sister he killed) and now made him Laurie's older brother. Was that introduced earlier on in the franchise as it's been ages since I have seen those films and cant really remember one from the other?

Watched From Paris With Love. I liked this film. It is nothing special, but Travolta kicks ass in this film and is seriously |

H:20 does complicate continuity regarding a lot of the stuff involving Laurie's daughter though, especially since H:20 is based around the idea that Michael has been dormant for the past 20 years, contrary to the events in the previous 3 films. |

You must mean Laurie's son?

That must be it! Continuity is also compromised in H20 by her son popping up though...now where does he come from?

I don't think your memory is bad, Nos. It's just the sequels in the franchise from 4 onwards are pretty crappy, you have probably just suppressed them in your memory. 5 & 6 especially. The lead characters in those is called Jamie or something and is Laurie Strode's niece or some crap. I watched Bloodmoon last night. Pretty funny, yet bloodless 80's slasher from Oz. Brilliant, crazy score from Brian May. He's a brilliant composer. |
