Watched Gold (1968/1972 Gold: Before Woodstock. Beyond Reality. (1972) - IMDb )...

Ok low budget 60's counter-culture comedy/satire that seems to run out of money (was there even money?) and ideas quickly.

Not bad but I was expecting more.

Recently, I've seen the following:
Vanishing Point -- not much of a story, but the driving scenes are outstanding
Friday the 13th (I watched that on Friday, of course!) -- Looks fantastic in HD and is still a classic slasher
The Dorm That Dripped Blood -- okay, but nothing special
Bloodrayne: The Third Reich -- Uwe Boll does it again; complete nonsense
Max Schmeling: Fist of The Reich -- this could have been a biopic of a fascinating individual but, thanks to Uwe Boll, it wasn't
The Funhouse -- couldn't wait for the Blu-ray after all the discussion so gave the DVD another spin
Killer's Moon -- not the greatest film to be caught up in the video nasty witch hunt, but still atmospheric with some decent shots and really uncomfortable scenes

There are others, but I can't remember which ones off the top of my head.
I picked up Ghosthouse recently, off Amazon marketplace - under £1.50 inc postage.
For a Vipco release its pretty outstanding in its picture quality, a definite recommendation.

The film itself? maybe not so good, but it had decent gore effects. A reasonable addition to the collection.

Killers Moon is an oddity, i wasn't too keen the first time i saw it, however something lodged itself in my mind, i have now seen it 3/4 times and really rate it. It may be the same with you, time will tell.

Thanks -- I'll have a look on Amazon Marketplace now. As for Killer's Moon, this was my second viewing (third if you include with the commentary) and I thought much more of it than the first time I saw the film. No doubt there will be more viewings and I hope it improves even more.

Aye, Being a late 80's Italian horror I expected NIGHTMARE BEACH to be rubbish but it was pretty darn good. As was VICE SQUAD.

I watched Outcast last night.

Really enjoyed it. British film making is certainly not dead.

Quite a slow moving film about shape shifters on a Scottish council estate.

It portrayed Scotland as a grey depressed urban jungle, which added to the films sombre mood.
