What Films Have You Seen Recently?

Been saving up The Skin I Live In and took the plunge yesterday. Let me say straight off the bat, this is the best looking blu ray I've ever seen, I couldn't believe my eyes at the clarity - this is almost like the next generation of format has arrived early, it's that far ahead of most blus out there. Film's great too, although it's definitely a 2 viewings required movie. It took over my dreams last night (always a good sign) and its still kicking about my head this morning. There's a creepy vibe hanging over this film that allows it to carry off one of the most out there plot twists you will ever encounter. An absolutley essential purchase.

Watched Pieces last night great film the gore effects looked great. Had to include a picture of the Janitor he is great in the film so sinister looking.

I bought this on Blu-ray as it was ridiculously cheap and was called Monsterwolf, for cripes sake! One of the first things I noticed is that it has the credits for Swamp Shark printed on the sleeve by mistake! My heart immediately warmed to this production.

Well, I think it's one of the best SyFy jobs I have seen. In fact, I am almost worried that they are getting too good at film-making!

A Native American spirit comes back to fight a nasty, evil oil company in the form a massive and rather peeved wolf. Shenanigans ensue.

Tremendous fun, with much tongue in cheek humour and decent performances and a stunning lead actress.

Yay!

Have a look at Wyvern Goji. A tremendous dragon sci-fi channel flick.

Watched Unhinged for the first time last night(I've had the dvd for about 6 months now), gotta say I quite enjoyed it, not sure why it was on the nasties list though?
Followed it with Nights of Terror in anticipation of my impending BD arrival, still love this film and was surprised how good my 23rd Century dvd looked (as Pete said on the Strangest Zombie Films thread), its been that long since I gave it a spin that I could've sworn it was a crap copy.
Gonna check out Nightmare City later and probably Jungle Holocaust, 2 films I've not seen before.
