Did he give you a fair exchange rate?

Doesn't sound like it if there was no erotic aspect to it.

No, but he did stick a vial of green liquid into the broken back of a screaming animal puppet, which seemed like it was worth a quick shuffle at the time.

I woke up in tears, if that's any consolation.
Now I understand why I've gone off 'Reanimator'...

Well thanks for sharing your dreams Frankie.

I'm expecting to see several copies of Reanimator listed on the "New dvd Trades" thread tomorrow.

A hit man who gets turned on by smell of boiling rice falls in love with a woman he is hired to kill. Who in turn wants to kill him as does his wife and the No 1 ranked hitman.

Some great music and a great atmosphere. A very stylish film with some great scenes. This is my first Suzuki film but ill will certainly be hunting down more after this.

'Clash of the Titans' (2010) 8/10
'Ratman' (1988) 7/10 Quite enjoyed it!
'Revenge of the Creature' (1955) 7/10 Upgraded to 3D didn't work quite as good as the first movie!

If I find I've grown bored of 'From Beyond' I'll be really pissed off, considering how much I paid for it.
The short story by H.P lovecraft HERBERT WEST RE-ANIMATOR was never really lovecraftian either! Old H.P always considered it to be a job done for the cash, too obvious and too gory to be considered part of the mythos. That said I have a theory why some people go off the film.

Re-animator is suppossed to be an OTT comedy horror, the humour coming from how over the top and ridiculously extreme the film is. Trouble is 30 years later and it does'nt look all that extreme, I know people who have trouble with the evil dead for the same reason, while they prefer evil dead 2 because it's a different kind of humour, physical slapstick with grue which is possibly more timeless.
