Anatomy 2

Second half of a cheapo region A double feature. Good film. Shame about the shoehorned "evil German doctor seeks to engineer übermensch through unethical medical experimentation and research"...from Hollywood it's to be expected but this is a German movie

"The Kentucky Fried Movie"

Too tired to do anything, too sticky to sleep plus sciatica playing up so, at 02:00 this morning, I was watching "The Kentucky Fried Movie." It's an awful long time since I saw this messed up flick, but it still raises a few chuckles. Some of the gags in it have always fallen flat for me, I s'pose you have to be more attuned to the American sense of humour than I am.

I still prefer the predecessor to this flick, "The Groove Tube," and the "Kentucky" sequel, "Amazon Women on the Moon," I hope that "Movie 43" is going to live up to the hype!

Cop (1988)

Great flick. Saw it many years ago. IMO it has one of the best endings to any film. James Woods and Charles Durning both excellent. And Charles Haid from Hills Street Blues, wow I'm definitely getting old. If you haven't seen this one yet, give it a go. You won't be disappointed

I've just watched the blu ray of the French film Amelie, for some reason I love the film and it's the only romantic film I have gone out and bought hence the only romantic film in my collection.

Went to the cinema this morning to see WWZ. Very enjoyable better than many reviews would have you believe. No gore but plenty of crazy infected and action. A nice way to spend 2 hours kept me interested from start to finish. Just dont expect an amazing Zombie film. The word Zombie get thrown about abit in the film i just didnt see it as such. Well worth a watch story wise nothing new but entertaining none the less.

No, you're not the only one – I love it too and have seen it more times than I can remember. I'm a massive fan of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films and Amelie was the first of his I saw.
