Heaven knows mr Allison

Wonderful film directed by John Huston, which is sort of a companion piece to the African queen. Here we have two legends of cinema Robert Mitchum and Deborah Kerr as a marine and nun who get trapped on a island during the Second World War (1944). Both actors are fantastic and Kerr got a oscar nomination for the film. They really don't make them like this anymore. 9/10

I know it's the wrong thread, but I've ordered these Redemption BDs: Frightmare, Home Before Midnight, Eden and After and L'immortelle.

I watched Red State on Film4 on the weekend. I was pleasantly surpirsed, I quite enjoyed it. It's been a looooong time since I have liked a Kevin Smith film.

Persona by Ingmar Bergman. One of my favorite films ever.

Bummer that this Swedish site has a sale on Bergman DVD's right now but I'm to poor to buy any. Or.... nah, I'm to poor but damn.
