I did mate, i watched it with the other half and we both fully enjoyed it. That film is exactly what i enjoy watching. If anyone has anything similar they can reccomend let me know. I also love 'What ever happened to baby jane' that movie is also quite dark.

Have you seen Robert Mitchum in Cape Fear another amazing performance very dark and intimidation.

Just finished quatermass and the pit. Enjoyable science fiction flick from hammer. The plot was enjoyable and the effects were entertaining. Not the best hammer film I've seen. But was not the worst one I've seen either
keirarts, trebor8273 and Dave Boy like this.

I was lucky to see Night of The Hunter on the big screen as part of the BFI's Gothic Season last year. Oddly enough though, it was a rewatch of my Arrow Blu-Ray that made me truly appreciate it.

I also really like Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, great acting and a great film.

Presently watching HALLOWEEN II on the Horror Channel. The scene which has just been on had someone watching NOTLD on tv. Has anyone else noticed that this is the only horror film people watch in horror films.

And doesn't it look way spookier on dingy little tv's full of static than on blu-ray'd 60" screens.

HALLOWEEN II looks a bit like that along with most of the stuff shown on the Horror Channel.

Just watched the Mist for the first time. Wow, what a film and having read the source material many years ago, I did not see that ending coming, seeing as it's different to the novella! 9/10

I just couldn't get into it and ended up selling it before finishing it!
