Let It Ride is a great comedy. Robbie Coltrane is a scene stealer.

Excellent film. For a change the (very) black humour and graphic violence worked together well. Thoroughly recommended.

I'd seen it before and somehow managed to blank it from my mind. It was only when I started watching it again that it all came flooding back. It's not exactly what I would call a good example of low budget British horror.

yesterday i watched the Roger Corman 'classic' The Last Woman on Earth. Not bad, but the premis was used to better effect 30 years later in The Quiet Earth. The only problem i had with the film was the fact that i was watching the Elstree classics dvd that looked like a bad vhs dupe. I found out the film is in a boxset called the Puerto Rico Trilogy and that contains a remastered widescreen version. I think i'll be picking that up.

Also watched Kill Bill again, what a film, everytime i watch it i enjoy it even more, but i did notice that the dialog is rather mediocre for a Tarantino film and sounds at time like George Lucas wrote it (wooden). But the violence is top notch.

God, I really don't like it. It's just all ripping off stuff from other films basically. Just kind of comes of cheesy too.

that's the fun of Kill Bill, QT has even said himself that he's ripping off other movies for it. For me it's everything i love all rolled into one.
