Bitchute has/had (not been on there for a little bit) the obscure Turkish version Seytan 1974, YT has Abby 1974 and i'm sure our favourite Cries And Shadows 1975. Some that i found earlier were in Film1k movie site.

The Sword and the Sorcerer. 1982.

A mercenary with a three bladed sword teams with a princess to foil the plans of a evil tyrant.

How come Albert Pyun makes a movie with very little budget and is able to pull of something decent, Lee Horsley plays our sword wielding hero Talon who is the rightful king of the land but that spot has been taken over by evil Cromwell played by favourite antagonist Richard Lynch who used black magic to get what he wants. Brother and sister Alana and Mikah played by Kathleen Bellar and Simon MacCorkindale seek the help of the rightful ruler and Mikah somewhat narrates over the story.

The writing is a bit tacky but early 80s work with some sarcastic comments that can cause a smirk and some plot holes either badly written or badly edited, for Pyun's directorial debut i'd say he done a decent job with this and incorporated the medieval background score in at the right places.

Considering this was a film i took an intense dislike to first time around this was my third viewing of it and first with the impressive Dolby Atmos soundtrack on Blu-ray.

A film i'm appreciating more with each watch even if the slim story is a bit repetitive - huge desert vehicle chase, find destination, set off back, huge desert vehicle chase - the end.

However those action sequences in the desert are extremely impressive, aided by the fact that director George Miller opted for stunts over C(rap)GI with the cacophonous sound making it a true fury road for the senses.

Mad Max: Fury Road for me is now the second best Max film but it'll need some longevity to top Mad Max 2.
Still not watched it again after seeing in the cinema must give it a whirl some night. Second best in the series is high praise.

The first film is almost a prequel and not remotely like any of the others. Australia quickly became an untamed wasteland following that first film which was pretty much set in a normal world.

When it comes down to it there are only four films and it'd have to go some to not be better than Beyond Thunderdome which is merely alright.

It's never going to be better than Mad Max 2 which has 40 years of love behind it.

Is Firestarter (2022) any good?

I saw it on dvd with a load of other Halloween titles and thought i might try it and the new Candyman as they are 2 for £8.

If it's shit then forget it. If i recall Mr.Barlow didn't rate Candyman anyway.

Ah, forget it. Just seen it's a Blumhouse production.

It's obvious it's shit.

It's very mediocre, I watched it despite the bad/lukewarm reviews just because Zac is in it, he couldn't save the film but he is decent. Better to just not bother!

Thanks. I won't. That's the problem with seeing things on shop shelves. They begin to appeal beyond my better judgment.

Agree with this;

The Road Warrior
Fury Road
Mad Max
Beyond Thunderdome.

I too hadn't seen it since the cinema, which blew me away, and I recently rewatched all 4 of them in 4k and loved Fury Road, the soundtrack is great and when the convoy starts and all the tribal drums and metal guitar music plays out it's hair-raising
