Although I don't know the percentage/minutes of new material compared to flashbacks, the very nature of the story, with Ricky recalling what his brother did, means most of the film is effectively a re-editing of the first.

It's not terrible and is one of those horror films, like Exorcist II: The Heretic, which is a lot more enjoyable when you treat it as a comedy.

Thirty quid for Telemark is a bit steep for me for a single film. Also i'm wary of ITV and their Blu's for being well, not very good.

It’s a manufactured on demand disc so it’s unlikely to be reduced. Regarding the ITV disc of Eagles, I’ve heard it’s a good presentation but I’d take that with a grain of salt as the disc is from the first years of Blu-ray and compression techniques have improved by a lot since! The only other ones are from 2013 so I reckon they all come from the same master.

Yeah, it's a pity as some of the early blu's really aren't all that much of an improvement on the dvd's.

The UK release has a better range of contextual material, including an audio commentary and an interview with Wanda Ventham. Take a look at the link below for a comparison between the UK and US discs.

The Blood Beast Terror Blu-ray - Peter Cushing
