Well after years of saying no
I finally watched The Wicker Man (2006) where Nicholas Cage punches a lot of women. I don't remember Callan doing that!!!
What a silly film. Some nice scenery though .... that's about it.

It looks like Spielberg is planning on remaking 'West Wide Story'

Why? The original 1961 Robert Wise version is an absolute classic, and no-one will ever better Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Rita Moreno, George Chakiris and Russ Tamblyn in the cast

Steven Spielberg's West Side Story is confirmed with open auditions announced - WhatsOnStage.com

You could probably go back to 1597 for an original telling of the story!

'Pet Sematary' Remake Reportedly Begins Filming in May - Horror Movies

As long as Stephen King has been a published novelist, his works have been steadily adapted for either the big or small screens. One of the more generally well-remembered theatrical King adaptations is 1989ís Pet Sematary, directed by Mary Lambert.

Like almost any film, aspects of Pet Sematary (1989) can now seem dated, but for the most part, it still holds up as an exercise in terror. Especially the scenes with Zelda, which have always made my skin crawl.

Last year, Paramount announced that Pet Sematary was set for a remake, which will arrive in theaters on April 19th, 2019. While ITís Andy Muschietti made it known that he would love to direct, the job instead went to Starry Eyes helmers Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer.

While a cast has yet to be assembled for the Pet Sematary remake, Omega Underground now reports that it will begin filming in Toronto sometime in May. Itís hard to make a movie without a cast, so one assumes actors will be officially attached soon.

Notably, Toronto is also where Warner Bros. chose to shoot IT. While thatís likely due to various tax credits involved with shooting in Canada, itíll be interesting to see if Toronto becomes the go-to destination for the production of King-based films

This is more of a sequel to the 1987 movie than remake, it was pitched to be a remake Shane Black came on board as writer and changed the concept.
