I'd always dismissed it as something on the lines of Intolerable Cruelty or other nonsense like that.
I saw this at the cinema and have only watched it once since, but it is definitely worth a watch IMO, it's pretty cheap these days too, couple of quid in CEX last time I looked

Intolerable Cruelty? No, nothing like that at all. It's an inventive slasher that came in the wake of Scream et al. Well worth a watch.

Oh, and Intolerable Cruelty is shit, btw.

I liked it, I have the code red release and thought it was a decent little film, nothing special but worth a watch.

Solomon kane is fantastic, a very underrated film.
Solomon Kane is the best adaptation of a Robert E Howard character/set of stories yet to be filmed. amazing, fast-paced, really well-made dark fantasy/sword 'n' sorcery.

I also love....

Judge Dredd (Stallone Version. There I said it! It's a mid-90's classic! )
Langoliers & Maximum Overdrive-love 'em!
I think Creepshow 2 is better than Creepshow 1
And like many, I love Fulci's Cat in the Brain! Got the German "Red Edition" dvd....perhaps this is a potential Shameless/Arrow release worth doing?
I also love Halloween 4 and the 2 Rob Zombie remakes, along with friday the 13th Parts 8 and Jason X (don't think much of the rest of these though).

Judge dredd isn't a bad film, its just NOT judge dredd! I think that's the fans main complaint. I enjoy maximum overdrive and the langoliers as well, but i'd also chuck in the tommyknockers as I watched it just recently and enjoyed it a lot more than the first time round.

As for cat in the brain, the grindhouse disc is the way to go, its effin loaded. Also you should pick up fulci's touch of death and sodoma's ghost, huge chunks of both movies are used for cat..
