Same film, different cuts. The American distributor filmed some additional scenes for the American relase. Mostly they're bloody awful even by ZH standards.

Same film, just different titles and different cuts. It's the same with Man from Deep River and Deep River Savages (the title on the slipcase).

88 are going to release Massacre in Dinosaur Valley and have released Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals, so I wouldn't be surprised if they had a look at Mountain of the Cannibal God (without the gratuitous animal violence, particularly the lizard being gutted) and Eaten Alive and Jungle Holocaust (again without the gratuitous animal violence), as they would tie in quite well with the Me Me Lai documentary on the Man from Deep River release. I would like to see them release all the above.

Cannibal Ferox has just had a bells and whistles Blu-ray set put out by Grindhouse Releasing and, as it's a fairly abhorrent film anyway (Radice detests it),I'm not overly bothered to see it released in the truncated form here.

As the Indiegogo campaign is now over £51,000, it'll be interesting to see what extra features/other films 88 Films look at doing with the extra cash.

Has anyone watched The Suckling yet?

I am watched it yet, but the overview on the rear cover tells me to expect!

Do macabre movies get any more gloriously tasteless then 1990's notoriously nasty slice of creature feature campiness THE SUCKLING! Also known as SEWAGE BABY, this body-horror frightener goes where few fear-flicks would ever dare by focusing on an aborted foetus which comes into contact with some radioactive slime and ends up with a new lease of life. The result is a tiny almost-unborn terroriser that is ready to attack anyone in its wake. Unashamedly sleazy, but also strangely topical, THE SUCKLING pulls few punches and for lovers of maniacally mad movies, this is one of the finest - and funniest - late-night monster movies ever to haunt your nightmares!

Now available, uncut and uncensored, in a colourful new HD remaster, THE SUCKLING is back to breathe new life into your splatter film collection!

Hope it's better than Flesh Eating Mothers! Oh, that was dire.

That's another to watch this weekend. My expectations are low, but I hope it is somewhat enjoyable.

Yeah, I looked up the Grindhouse Ferox release when it came out but I'm not multi region I wish it was as easy to make blu rayed players multi region as it is to do it with DVD players. Just tap in a wee code and off you go!

It can be depending on the make and model. They can also be very cheap if you aren't overly bothered about how it looks and the make. I bought a Maidston one from HMV online years ago for £50 and it hasn't disappointed.
