i was initially thinking the same until i saw this exchange on facebook:

PH: the next box set is 3 movies, big surprise is planned

poster: Hmm, maybe an all new Jason and the Argonauts! The suspense is killing us!

PH: How good would that box set be??

the last post was emphasised with a smiley face and a thumbs up

Remember, these were the same people that all but told everyone on Facebook they were releasing Starman, then turned around and told everyone they never said it. Tbh, i'd be annoyed if it's Jason after buying the Premium Collection version.

I think you can safely say it won't be Jason and the Argonauts.

Their response of "How good would that be"

Is answering a question with a question. It's not an answer at all.

true, it was the we are planning a big surprise part of the exchange that got me thinking. what is the big surprise? EVtFS wouldn't be a surprise. I was thinking maybe a new 4K scan of the original neg for Jason would be?

whatever it is I'll be getting it so maybe speculation is a bit moot anyway

Default The Stone Killer (Dual Format Limited Edition) [Blu-ray]

Just recently watched the awesome Stone Killer, the first time I have watched this in years, and is probably one of Micheal Winners best films with Charles Bronson...(after Death Wish of course). The interview with Paul Koslo was excellent and was to short, the other highlight being Roy Budd funky score.

a couple of things of interest to this board posted on PH/I FB page.

a strong hint that Hammer's Maniac will be announced next week.

Christine, Body Double, and 10 Rillington Place are all close to going OOP - they'll be reissued as BD only without booklets

The Gorgon looks likely to be in the next batch of announcements.

I wonder if they'll do the Hammer films in a box set like the Harryhausen ones. I can't remember how many they have, perhaps 10, it might be 3 x box sets.

Glad to see that it looks like Maniac will be getting released.
I've loved all these early Hammer's that i've seen so far.
I've currently got Paranoiac, Scream of Fear, and Nightmare.
