From what i'm aware it was her voice and accent which meant she didn't get parts in the UK and US. She was overdubbed more often than not, even in her starring role in the decidedly average Countess Dracula. That film could be another reason why she remained unknown. Same goes for Ursula Andress - Always had to be overdubbed. Oh and nos42 - The Time Monster. You aren't missing out having not seen it. In my opinion it's Pertwee's worst story. |

Convincing rumours that there will be ten new Doctor Who sets at B&M this year including The Sensorites Keys of Marinus Earthshock Robot The Five Doctors First Doctor and TARDIS Plus Power, Evil, Day and Planet of the Daleks - History of the Daleks sets. There's also a second Doctor (With fur coat) and TARDIS as seen in The Abominable Snowmen that will be a Character Options website exclusive. |

I've nearly finished watching the third season, the second with David Tennant as the Doctor (I have the two-part Utopia and The Sound of Drums to watch this evening), and have enjoyed many episodes. The last one I saw, Blink, was a highly engaging and smart piece of science-fiction storytelling. I can understand why it's such a popular show which was watched by millions of people, though I am pleased there won't be many more episodes with Daleks – they are very irritating!
