Almost certainly fake / wishful thinking, but...

Rumour has it...

From 'The Daily Dalek' FB...
"This may be A Thing. Got it from another page, would not link properly so had to cut and paste. We may have a new Doctor. Google has come up dry
-Teeth & Curls

**BREAKING NEWS**

Todays afternoon edition of "The Daily Rag" has confirmed that two more actors had been seen this morning heading into the "Bad Wolf Studios". These being Michael Sheen 53 and Sean Bean 63. Our reporter Casey Macy was thrilled when RTD (a huge fan of The Daily Rag) approached her after to reveal that these two actors were in fact in being auditioned for the part of the next Doctor and that he would be thrilled if either one off these stars were to be given the part. He didnt mention how the auditions would be held and that there would be no confirmations made afterwards and that the actors themselves would be sworn to secrecy afterwards.

We at The Daily Rag will strive to keep all our readers updated with all the latest news about our favourite TV Show "Doctor Who" whenever and wherever possible and remember where you heard it first."
As someone has pointed out, however...
"Bad Wolf are currently producing the first book "The Winter King" in Bernard Cornwall's "Warlord Chronicles" His take on Arthurian Legends. The Series follows Arthur Pendragon as he evolves outcast son to legendary warrior and leader. More like that Bean and Sheen are involved in this production."

The Geoff Love Orchestra plays the 'Doctor Who theme'

Unrelated to the show, but they also have a 'unique' take on the 'Star Trek' theme!!

I actually have that record. Absolutely loved it at the time. I'm guessing it was my very first record.

Barbarella i prefer to the actual real theme. UFO and Space 1999 were pretty great as well. The Star Trek one is ghastly though.

Doctor Who was ridiculous back then when you consider the actual theme on tv at the time. However listening to this now it's kinda like the tv movie version in parts. Note i said parts. Certainly not all of it.

I love the cover art. It's actually pretty good except the person who is supposed to be Leia looks more like Stephanie Beacham from The Colbys. A show that didn't exist back then.

Probably best not mention Luke Skywalker either.

I've now seen three of Time-Flight's episodes on Blu-ray and am rather enjoying it.

It's not classic Doctor Who but it is good fun with Ainley's Master reveal wonderful. He's practically laughing as he clambers out of the Khalid costume at the end of part two.

They do, even if they are basically upscales. All i've seen so far are an upgrade on the dvds.

Not that the dvd's are poor. Had no issue whatsoever watching The Sensorites, The Time Meddler and Keys of Marinus recently on dvd.
