Last Christmas. lol I must be going soft, because I quite enjoyed this. First time I got to the bit on Clara's roof with Santa and went "nope". But it's not bad, actually lol. Probably the best Xmas special after The Snowmen (it's a low bar, I know).

There is a nasty rumour going round that the casting for the new Doctor is being limited to 'females of colour'

While I would love to see a 'female of colour' as the Doctor, I cannot believe that the BBC would be so crass as to insist upon this

Looks like Galaxy 4 will be animated following Evil of the Daleks and The Abominable Snowmen.

Current betting

Olly Alexander 7/2

Kris Marshall 11/2

Lenny Henry 6/1

Michaela Coel 8/1

Paul McGann 10/1

Kelly MacDonald 14/1

I think OA has discounted himself? Thinking about it Kelly MacDonald would have been a good choice for the first female Doctor.

Michaela Coel is a good actress but her star is so far in the ascendancy I doubt she'd take on a risky role like the Doctor. Lenny Henry and Paul McGann are surely hogwash?
