Besides as long as the species are humanoid and look the same what's the issue? King Kong wasn't humanoid. Were you mortally offended when Kirk romanced alien women?

humanoid (ˈhjuːmənɔɪd)
adjective

1. having an appearance or character resembling that of a human.

noun

1. (especially in science fiction) a being resembling a human in its shape

According to both these definitions, King Kong certainly IS a humanoid

I don't know. I'm not a big fan of 'Star Trek', and I don't watch it, so I have no attachment to it, either emotionally or spiritually. The only ones I remember seeing are the one with the Tribbles, and the one where Kirk becomes a woman (which contained so many inaccuracies, I treated it as a comedy episode)

Am watching Earthshock. Bit piddled. Whilst not the outright laugh riot that Silver Nemesis is, there is a lot here to thaw even Omega haha. Plus Adric dies. Cough.

Watched Night Terrors last night, fun Matt Smith story. The human 'dolls' are very creepy (especially with their malevolent child-like laughter) and the regulars are great. I miss that team a lot actually.

I like Night Terrors. It's quite underrated in my opinion. The human peg dolls are especially creepy. A good episode from the oft-maligned Mr. Gatiss.

I didn't realize how much i liked Amy and Rory until last season when Clara became a pain in the arse.
