Here's my ranking -

Empress of Mars
World Enough and Time
The Doctor Falls
The Pyramid at the End of the World
The Pilot

Smile
Thin Ice
Knock Knock
Oxygen

Extremis
The Lie of the Land
The Eaters of Light

Five very good episodes, four filler which were enjoyable enough at the time but fairly forgettable and three i found quite poor.

Empress of Mars was my favourite. I just found it totally enjoyable and the surprise appearance of an old friend at the end was just the cherry on top of the cake for me.

Extremis was a funny one though as i loved it until it was revealed to be a computer simulation and that reveal truly ruined it in my opinion.

It was nice to read in a recent interview that had Jon Pertwee been alive Mark Gatiss would have guaranteed him as much work as he wanted on The League of Gentlemen.

A quick questioon about the blu-ray boxes of the first 4 series of Nu Who (Ecclestone and Tennant): Are they worth an upgrade? mI have the DVD boxes and as far as I can remember the quality is OK, but the size of the boxes pests me as my space is limited. The versions in Italy now cost unter 20 Euro each, that is intriguing, maybe I have to bother with fixed sub-titles on the specials, that would be OK, not on the episodes though, but how can I find out? And they seem to have "new versions" now, so aside from the slimmer repackaging (which I find great!) is thereanything else that was changed?

Any information is very much appreciated!
