Well with the end of this season which left a lot to be desired in my opinion, I'm going to start Genesis of the Daleks. An episode a week from this Saturday should take me up to the Xmas episode. No Clara, and no Frank Skinner!

Why not go with The Time Monster instead?

Proof that seventies Who could be every bit as poor as Nu-Who.

If you are referring to the Christmas episode, I wouldn't put any money on this!!!!

Good man. Always good to re-visit Dr. Who from the past. Classic Who may not have the CGI effects, but from time to time what it doesn't make up in effects, it makes up in decent story telling. There's some outright stinkers, but there's also some gems. After watching Death in Heaven I had to reset the balance with Robert Holmes's Caves of Androzani. Take note Steven Moffat.

'The Invisible Enemy' is equally as bad! When 'Into the Dalek' was shown I had real fears that it would be a similar experiance...thankfully not!

suziginajackson, I meant no Clara in 'Genesis' (surely a good thing)

I like The Invisible Enemy.

I saw it as a child when first televised and it scared me to death. Perhaps it didn't have the same impact on vhs and dvd, but i still rate it.

Doctor Who: Missy originally claimed to be the Rani instead of the Master reveals Steven Moffat

"“Whenever I arrange skullduggery, no-one ever buggering notices,” he moaned. “We thought ‘everyone’s bound to overhear that’. Deaf bunch of bastards.”

"Is nobody stealing scripts these days? What’s the matter with people?”"

Danny Cohen. BBC Director of Television.

Quote:
Doctor Who is a great example of the way audience viewing habits are changing. On-demand viewing via iPlayer and recorded viewing mean that the total audience for programmes now grows very significantly from the initial live audience.

In this new world, we only know the total viewing for a programme after 30 days - and in the case of Doctor Who this means that the drama is performing exceptionally well.

Started 'Genesis of the Daleks' tonight with part 1, (one episode a week until this years christmas episode), it was spoilt somewhat because everytime Guy Siner did his (nazi) salute I thought of Sam Kelly and shouted 'Clomp!'
