It's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllly long and overextended, and boiled down the plot is actually pretty silly. I'm sure the original production was very classy and probably helped more than animation, but I found it massively inferior to Power as a story and a bit of a bore to be honest. Oh the controversy!
Agreed. I said on here when i watched it that it wasn't all that.

I'm not as enthusiastic as Susan i'm afraid. Episodes 1-3 were very good but four and five were simply padding. All that happened to move the story along was the Doctor creating the human factor in a vial from Jamie's DNA. That's it in fifty minutes.

I've listened to the story a few times on soundtrack cd and seeing it animated makes more sense but it's still not a great story.

It's not a patch on Troughton's last animated release - Fury from the Deep
Power of the Daleks is way superior.

Tomb of the Cybermen was nowhere near as good as it was almost mythically made out to be either.

I think i just watched fifty minutes of random deleted scenes from the forthcoming dvd box set. Utter shite!

Next week looks good. A straightforward (hopefully) horror style story centering on Weeping Angels. It's the one co-written by Maxine Alderton so will probably be the best of the series by far as her last one was.

The constant flicking around from one scene to another , back and forth etc annoyed me big time.
