Trebor, even if you don't do a full review, what about how your opinion has changed since seeing it at the cinema and having a few months to digest the absolute mess of reactions that came since last December!

I personally thought it was 'ok' at the cinema, I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. However, when I rewatched it I enjoyed the ride of it a lot more, it felt like a romp. That being said, the comedy moments didn't work for me, even the "holding for Hux" which I found really funny on first viewing didn't land for me the second time. But, even those flat jokes aside I still liked it better the second time around. The opening battle is one of the best and the closing battle too, exciting and looked amazing with the red sand underneath the white. My personal favourite though was Snoke's chamber!

So in a nut shell, all of those opinions saying the film is a joke to the franchise don't really cut it with me. I log all of my films on Letterboxd and I originally gave it a 3.5/5 and last night I logged it again and gave it 4/5. It's average score is 3.7/5 from 101,500 scores! General consensus is that it's a good film, but unfortunately those who dislike it just shout the loudest!

I was looking at the price of the other films earlier. Last years Rogue One dvd is still around the seven quid mark so i just got a copy of the new one with my Morrisons shop as it will take an age to drop below that offer price.

I'll watch The Force Awakens again on Thursday to bring me up to speed then give the new one a go on Saturday night.
