While not great( still a lot better than the film) it has potential and at least he looks the part, was a nice Easter egg t see that helmet. but I can't place his accent it's definitely not from Liverpool. Been watching the flash and it reminds me of smallville a bit they has been a accident ( metorshower n smallville) which has given people powers. But I am enjoying it and it's nice to John Wesley shep who played the flash in the 90s show playing Barry Allens father. Less dark than its sister show arrow

Been watching the clone wars and it's far superior to the prequel movies. The acting and stories are a lot better and even jar jar is tolerable. It can be very dark in places . a lot of people didn't like the animation style but I really enjoyed it and thought it suited the show nicely

Saw first episode of Constantine! Non too sure on this, The Flash again non too sure as for Arrow this I like, it has that edge of darkness that is missing from Flash.

the flash has never been very dark so the style suits it. willing to give Constantine a chance, even with its faults the pilot was a lot better than the movie

Just finished the first season of Braquo. The cover calls it a French version of The Wire, it isn't. It's much closer to The Shield, even down to the police station. It follows a small specialised unit as they break the law they vowed to protect, it's quite nasty in places and has a typical European feel to it all. Great stuff.

I've also just started Alias, it's enjoyable enough, reminds me of Tomb Raider crossed with the Jason Bourne films.

Watched Night Of The Marionettes last night on BBC4. Great to see Gordon Jackson in a "horror" tale. Liked this rather interesting take on the Frankenstein tale, as a scholar drags his family around Europe searching for the "source" of La Shelley's tome, hoping to make his name etc etc

What he finds though is not strictly for public consumption!! Surprisingly coarse in places, this was a nice companion piece to their screening of TCOF the previous night.

Watched the first series of Black Sails this week.

Very enjoyable. Its mixture of real life pirates, Treasure Island characters, whores, sea battles and general filth, makes for a palatable brew.

Looking forward to March when series 2 is released.

I spoke too soon, episode 2 felt like a filler which I could forgive mid season but the second episode!!!
