I'm sure it is. It has Imelda Staunton and Judi Dench, and they alone can keep you captivated.

Got to the end of the first season of The Strain, I was a little disappointed about how the finale ended. The build up to it was decent and the action scene inside the theatre was actually exciting, then it just seemed to end.

I guess I'll watch Season 2 when it comes on NowTV but I'm not in a rush to go seek it out

I'm re-watching the first season, and watched the first episode on Friday and then last night with Guillermo del Toro's commentary. As usual, it's a brilliant commentary track, which is packed full of information about the background to the books and series, including historical details about vampirism around the world (the mention of Antoine Augustin Calmet led to some online reading by me), the importance of the colour palette and collaboration between director, cinematographer, production designer and wardrobe department, and how certain character details fit into the overall story arc.

The first episode was gripping, but that was the only one directed by the GdT, from there on it declines in quality in my opinion.

I'd be interested in get the blu-rays though but only when the price comes down, it's still quite expensive for a 13 episode single season

Watching sleepy hallow, which I'm enjoying a lot more than I thought I would. Comes of as a cross between a police procedure show and supernatural. Also watching these other shows

Bones season 3
Archer season 6
Ancient aliens
In search of
Strain season 2
Peaky blinders
Falling sky's

Going to watch ash vs the evil dead later tonight

What made you buy it then if you didn't think you'd enjoy it much?
