Just finished Season Three of House Of Cards, enjoyable nonsense just about sums it up. Spacey and Wright are fantastic, high quality pantomime, and it's entertaining if you don't think too much about it. 7/10

If like me you remember this version of the Robert Louis Stevenson tale from when it originally aired, albeit only slightly, you'll be pleased to know it remains an enjoyable and even captivating viewing experience, with it's haunting Celtic theme tune still going round in my head as i type. Already we've had the battle of Culloden, betrayal, murder, slavery and a ship wreck with much more to come.

A series far superior to the 1971 film starring Michael Caine, this is definitely recommended viewing for any lovers of archive tv.
The film is hysterical though. Oh my sides etc.

I think that the shock was Jessie having her hand chopped off, no one really cared about Sam, we all saw it coming

Signed up to amazon prime. Decided to have a look at some of the shows.

Hand of god..

Ron Pearlman TV show had me sold. However its not amazing. It suffers from some structural problems and pacing problems however overall I managed to stick it to the end and don't regret watching it.

Try Mr Robot on Prime, it might annoy you with the technobabble but it is about hackers after all. I found it to be gripping and I binged the last half of the season because I needed to know what was going to happen

Also Black Sails is on Prime as well, Dem rates it, but I haven't seen it yet.
And... X-Files in HD is also on there.

I'm rather disappointed that the TV version of Rush Hour has been canned after just one season. I thought it was a rather fun throwback to old school action shows with a sense of fun and tongue in cheek humour, with very likeable leads and miles better than the movies. Ho hum...
