Was it all resolved in a proper way or was it left on a cliffhanger?

It wasn't canceled by the way. Just looked it up. It was the producers who decided three was the story told.

While I'm only on episode 5 i suspect you've answered your own question there Dem. From what i gather the main storyline is resolved in Season 3 and they decided to go out on a high.

It wraps things up but its left opening for a new series with a new character that was introduced in season 3

Cheers.

I miss the old days when shows ran loads of seasons such as Buffy, Smallville, Stargate SG-1.

It's barely worth investing in shows that run 3 or 4 seasons and barely have enough episodes in total which equal about one and a half series of the shows mentioned above.

I seem to like when they have shorter seasons now, lot of the time they just end up repeating stuff and quality sometimes takes a noise dive after 5 seaons . its more or less the same with networks shows with full seasons were half is just filler I much prefer the a shorter season of cable shows etc
