I watched the first series of Broadchurch over two nights.

Genuinely gripping television with stellar performances from David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Pauline Quirke, David Bradley et-al. Although it did feel like the BBC series May Day at times as suspicion of the murder fell on more or less everyone except the person who actually did it.

Great series, I'm looking forward to the third series next year

From what i understand the second series isn't quite as good but i still want to see it.

I'm looking forward to it's creator Chris Chibnall taking over the reigns of Doctor Who next year.

Well, the second episode of this Channel Zero was fairly relevatory, what with a few flashbacks pertaining to past events. Dying to see how they "wrap" this up next week ahem.

I'm surprised how much tv Pauline Quirke has actually done.

The last three shows i've watched she's been in - Broadchurch, Shadows and Beasts. She does creepy really well. I thought she'd only been in Birds of a Feather.

We bought the first series on dvd and like you watched it over two nights captivated. The second series doesn't hold a candle to it in my opinion.

Tales of the Unexpected - The Vorpal Blade

Peter Cushing, Nazis, Heidelberg, sabre duels, poison, blood and breasts.

Great stuff!
