I agree about the last part, especially Shiri Appleby.

Following the wonder that is Downton Abbey was never going to be easy, so i've decided on Mr Selfridge.

You know what? It's not bad. Admittedly two episodes out of four series isn't fare to make an overall judgement but so far i'm rather enjoying it. Jeremy Piven has great charisma as Harry Selfridge, a man who'll seemingly stop at nothing. Even putting one of those new airplane machines in his Oxford Street store to drum up publicity.

Good period detail, interesting characters and a good script (even though it's not a patch on Downton) ensure i'll be visiting the store again very soon.

I'll probably enjoy them then as I seem to like stuff everyone else says is shit, but the last two from my list are supposed to very good shows from what I've looked up.

What are your thoughts on alias, only seen it once and from what I remember I enjoyed it,or is this another shit one?

Medium was the most promising one. I quite liked the first few episodes and i do like Ms. Arquette (fantastic rack - hope i didn't type that out loud) However it went nowhere fast and didn't have that sense of edginess i hoped it would.

Loved every minute of Alias. Action packed, a great cast, memorable villains. Personally i don't think JJ Abrams has bettered it.

I even bought a figure of Syd in her blue metallic dress at a convention one time. All my mates just wanted to see if she was wearing underwear.

Yes, nos42 ...she is.

Alias hasn't grabbed me so far. Medium is meh, i'm quite enjoying Ghost Whisperer, but only seen series 1 so far. Tru Calling i saw quite a few years ago. Seem to remember that it wasn't all that even with Dushku in it - oh yeah, fat Jason Priestly is in it!

Millenium is pretty cool, but i've only seen half a dozen or so episodes of that.

I got into this watched first two series and reasonable enjoyed it, didnt have time to watch 3rd when aired, and just havent had time to catch up, films and other tv shows have a higher priority. As for Downtown Abbey pft not my scene.

Tru Calling was great I really enjoyed it. Wish they hadn't cancelled it. Don't know about the other two.
