Remove the CGI from American Gods and you have ten minutes of Lovejoy.

Would be a boring old world if we all liked the something and not knowing anyone who didn't like stranger things and American gods makes a nice change as it doesn't shit all over the source material, ie Lucifer and lot of other shows and films.

I am going to stick with American Gods but it isn't the priority viewing I had wished it to be.

I might as well save time now rather than wait for 22nd.

Twin Peaks is shit too!

I haven't seen either show (although I intend to watch Stranger Things), but had to give that a 'like' because it made me laugh out loud.

Not yet. It is quite a big series when I looked at it.

Same.

Although, he's kind of sold me on American Gods in some respects (a show I had zero intention of watching) if only for it being a CGI infused Lovejoy mash-up.

I haven't seen American Gods. However i've read the book and so long as it sticks close to the book there should be lots more to it than effects. If not then its a shitty adaptation.

its years since i read the book but from what i remember its following it pretty closely, its not another Lucifer which just shit all over the fantastic source material.

I'm sure that I read about season one only being around a third of the book and the rest will be in forthcoming seasons. I'm really looking forward to it. I only read American Gods for the first time last year and I loved it, it's a very dense story, possibly a little too close to the Norwegian Edda but I think that was kind of the point!

SUPERGIRL S2 EP 21
THE FLASH S3 EP 22
ARROW S5 EP 22

All shows prepare for their series finale episodes next week.
To be honest, I will be glad when the ARROW and FLASH stories are concluded..they seem to have been going on forever. ARROW seems to be pulling out all the stops and rounding up a host of characters for the last episode but the constant flashback scenes are now annoying.
The most enjoyable moment for me about THE FLASH this season was in episode 20 when Killer Frost made the ice slide through the city. Other than that it just seems to be the same episode every week.
SUPERGIRL remains constant with self contained episodes most of the time.
However ARROW and THE FLASH end up next week, they need to up their game for the next seasons as they are a shadow of the shows they once were.

Killer Frost ice slide...
