24 Hours in Police Custody
I watched this last night with the missus and it was about a predator who would hang around outside pubs and nighclubs spying on drunk, vulnerable women. This sort of television is far more scary than any horror film ive ever seen. Disgusting.

Enjoying this The Curse, the latest Safdie Bros palaver. 6 parter.

A young couple hope to revitalise a local area, but when a child's joke seems to start to intrude on reality their plans might not have the safest foundations. About halfway through and I'm dying to see how this all pans out. Well, twas this or the real life Squid Game

Keeping Up Appearances

After watching the Channel 5 Documentary a couple of weeks ago, I fished out DVD's and watched the entire Series:

It was well acted with great comedic performances

It was rather repetitive with it's gags

Other than 1991, it's Xmas Episodes aren't really Christmassy

I get a feeling that if it was done today, the characters of Sheridan and Bruce would probably be done differently.

Also it felt like Hyacinth was way too mean towards Richard and not in the funny long suffering portrayal it was originally intended (But that's my interpretation)

My favorite episodes were the Riverside Picnic with riparian entertainments and the one on The QE2.

The Curse

Just finished this. Yes, we better get more as this is just picking up ahem. Our duo are really setting themselves up for a fall here, as far as I can see. It's all slightly meta, as the core moral here is about purity of vision becoming corrupted by commercial concerns.

I am currently viewing First Dates at Christmas with the other half. Also watched an 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown earler. I find these light hearted shows a useful antidote to online misery. Merry Christmas to all still active here with special mentions to the following: Noseferatu, Nosferatu 42, Demoncrat, Suzy and Mr Barlow. I should also mention Stephen and Callum and say I apologise for past mean spirited online actions. This place is very useful to me in keeping me in the loop about future releases and I enjoy the respectful interactions.

Happy Christmas to you too, Sir

I also prefer to watch 'brainless' entertainment on television - things you don't have to concentrate on, but rather let them wash over you!

At the moment, I am watching a lot of Taskmaster - it's highly recommended if you have never seen it

Merry Christmas Suzy. You are my go to person for Arrow Video releases and 88 films. I confess to viewing a lot of miserable news reports and came to the conclusion it was causing me real world misery. So I have disengaged from anything irrelevant and gone back to consuming harmless entertainment and I feel all the better for it. Wherever you are have a good one and stay safe.
