Well that's funny when I've already received an email stating how popular I must be as three people have used my link. Doughnuts

That's odd. I didn't even get an email, the only way I knew I had 3 people was because it said so on my link.

That £20 HMV voucher for £10 deal is back on at LivingSocial. I'll let someone else who wants/needs the referral post a link :tongue1:. I couldn't resist snapping it up.

Instore yup. A surprise spotting that in there - all the other sale titles are the usual mainstream guff. . .

I'll give them a look tomorrow then. I hardly ever go in there and I can't imagine my local even stocking it but you never know...

Gaps in your Arrow collection? All £8.99 each! At the Play.com BD sale!

ReturnToZero 28th December 2011 09:46 AM

I promised myself not to buy more films for a month or so but as this favourite was so cheap at Play.com i simply couldn't resist :)

I'm purposefully avoiding clicking on that play.com sale . . .

Except Maniac Cop which typically is the only one left I need

Play.com have some great deals on at the moment. I picked up Scarface (single disc edition, none of that triple play nonsense) for £6.99. :)

Those Arrow discs are looking mighty tempting though. Already picked up The Beyond so I may have to look at getting some more. I can feel my will-power crumbling as I type this!!!

Just the usual suspects in my local. Between that and the HMV sale, quite appalling. On my way home completely empty handed...

I'm trying to stay away as well, but I know I'll have gone there and looked at all the titles by the end of the day!

Legend 28th December 2011 11:26 PM

Unfortunately Tesco are efficient and the £33.95 copy of Star Wars Original Trilogy was posted this morning.

On Play the complete Saga is £40.

Star Wars: The Complete Saga (With Online Exclusive Film Cell) (9 Discs) (Blu-ray) - Box Sets Blu-ray at Play.com (UK)

Thing is Dae,at that price they are well worth it,as no matter what their detractors say, they're excellent collector's pieces.

That SCARFACE disc-it got any better artwork?

Paul@TheOverlook 29th December 2011 09:44 AM

Scarface is the same without the 'triple play' banner at the top ;)

Good find. A lot of those BDs are often in the 2 for £5 in That's Entertainment too - must be surplus stock for a lot of places I imagine

antmumford 8th January 2012 10:50 AM
