Network dvd have 40% off everything until 2nd Feb including dvds too. Some good deals on there; currently weighing up the pros and cons of buying The Prisoner bluray (original series)

In case anyone's interested, all the current Arrow Academy releases are only £9.95 at Zavvi right now. Cheapest I've seen them so far

Arrrgh!

I know I shouldn't, but I want them and have been holding off buying any so, for that price, it's buying time!

Legend 30th January 2012 10:00 PM

So tempted to get Bicycle Thieves, Les Diaboliques and Rififi.

Bit of a stupid question, but I've only just realised Spirits of the Dead isn't part of the Academy collection. In fact, it seems to be entirely seperate to every Arrow collection even though it's in the standard slip with booklet and extras. What's the deal with that one?

I really really really want them all myself but I must save for my holiday in March. It's annoying that after the holiday I know I won't be able to get them at that price again :(

Spirits was just an Arrow Film release, would be interesting to see if they release anymore in that range or whether they just decided to do Arrow Academy in replace of their Arrow Film selection.

Nos - thanks for moving all the HME stuff over to a dedicated thread! Now we can get on posting about genuine, serious bargains:rockon::clap:

It benefits me as much as you (and everyone else) as we now know when there is a post here it pertains to a Blu-ray bargain rather than an update about HME.

On that, if you've come here to find out or post something about HME, there is now a designated thread: http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/blu-...ie-empire.html

You can get it in Germany for 8 bucks. I don´t know the exact details about that release, but it is quite tempting at this price...

PaulD 13th February 2012 10:37 AM

Jurassic Park for £16.99 at Play.com. For today only

I figure this is likely the cheapest it's ever been

Oh, and the Nightmare on Elm Street boxset is £22.95 at Zavvi at the minute as part of the Mega Monday deals

PaulD 13th February 2012 10:44 AM

Also:

Twilight Zone - £15.49

Tenebrae - £7.99

As with Jurassic Park I think these offers are for today only on Play.

Loads more here

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 13th February 2012 12:35 PM

I've ordered the Jurassic Park Trilogy and The Faculty, both far cheaper than anywhere else but they will undoubtedly drop in price over time.

nekromantik 13th February 2012 12:40 PM

Thanks for the Play link just bought Mimic!

Rik 13th February 2012 02:12 PM

Just ordered Tenebrae, wish I'd known about this before I watched my ABUK DVD last night

Daemonia 14th February 2012 12:14 AM

Some good bargains posted. Shame I'm skint till next week. Well, not totally skint, but I have to eat* etc.

*One of these days I'm going to toast a BD and see if it's edible. That way I can justify a BD buy to the missus as stocking up on food.

PaulD 18th February 2012 03:57 PM

ASDA's online Bluray Meltdown

Lots of new titles for a tenner including Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy steelbook, Drive, Thor, Captain America, Kill List etc

radioactive_ape 19th February 2012 06:48 AM

Hows this for a bargain...

I was out scouring the charity shops yesterday and went in British Heart Foundation where they'd mistakenly priced the Studio Canal special edition blu ray booklet style release of The Graduate as a DVD and got it for £1.99!!! Mint condition too.

Wow, what a find. I still haven't plucked the courage to do a charity shop rummage on my own yet. There's something about the embarrassment I had as a child that's mentally blocking the courage for me to go in.
I shall though, I must. Think of the bargains that could have been had considering there's at least 10 where I live.

bigandya 19th February 2012 08:56 AM

Michael Jackson's This is It Blu Ray is £2 in store in HMV, in the slipcase...

(Just thought I'd mention it as I've never seen a brand new Blu Ray for two quid anywhere before :))

djvaso 19th February 2012 01:22 PM

Could anyone from France help me in this matter?
There is promotion sales "3 Blu-rays for 30 EUR" on Fnac.com.
3 Blu-Ray = 30
I entered three Studio Canal titles (Ladykillers, 3 Days of Condor and Elephant Man) but the prices stay 15 EUR during the checkout process!? I put friend's address in France for delivery. What is the problem?

It works fine for me, before I even have to enter anything. Maybe you picked one or more discs that were not valid for the offer, I picked three with the green symbol and once there were 3 of them in the basket, each was only 10€.

Thank you for reminder. Now it is OK but before they definitely didn't apply discount.

God, keep Nos away from this - he'll buy enough of them to build an Exorcist bluray house! :)

That said, I just purchased one. I've got the Anthology dvd set but this is by far the best one so will love to see it in HD. I was thinking of having an Exorcist marathon shortly anyway so this times in nicely.
