How about BLOOD HARVEST?

The 1987 horror that starred the one and only Tiny Tim. I have a DVD of it but it's still missing some footage from what I've read.

Tiny Tim stars in his first dramatic film role in this taut drama. A Beautiful young girl, Jill Robinson, returns to her peaceful rural home town to find that her life has been turned upside down. The house she grew up in has been defaced, her parents are missing, and the whole town hates her father, the bank supervisor who had foreclosed on many of the local farms. Only "Marvelous Mervo" (Tiny Tim) seems happy to see her. He wanders around the community dressed in a clown's suit with a clown's permanent grin grotesquely painted on his face. Mervo's brother tries to re-kindle his love affair with Jill. Then, one by one, those closest to her are slaughtered like cattle... tied upside down from the rafters of the barn... until the surprise ending reveals the madman.. and a very unlikely savior.

Tim brings along some comic relief as there is some very strong violence...most of it cut by the BBFC. I think you'll enjoy it Reaps. Hightlight:Tim singing Marvelous Mervo. Quite unforgetable.

Retromedia released it on R1 but some of the violence is missing. I don't think there is an uncut version available anywhere, certainly not on DVD anyway. The UK video released in the 80's was missing 4m of violence.

Blood Harvest sounds like my kinda thing too, Angel. I try to watch lots of clown horrors in an attempt to cure myself of my irrational fear of the scary buggers!

Blood Harvest dose'nt sound to good to me to be honest.

I dont have a fear of clowns or anything like that, as I see them as tragic, sad lonely creatures. It just does'nt sound like my cup of tea.

I'd have to agree - most of the horror utput from the late 80s is lame to say the very least...
