You gotta love the guy! With every new film his trenchcoat just keeps gettin bigger & bigger!
After having watched Pistol Whipped the other night on tv I was inspired to buy & watch Out for Justice & Fire Down Below, which were both class!!
Anyone else here a fan of the wrist-breaking, cock punching eco warrior?

Yeah, when I want some mindless violence fixes,I go to his older stuff. His new stuff I wouldn't bother with.
Wonder why the one with Michael Caine (ON DEADLY GROUND?) has never been released on region 2?
Daftly enjoyable,as I remember......

Alright,i'll not have a bad word said about the Seagal.Sure,he may use body doubles now and has other people ADR his lines because as soon as he's finished filming one movie he's probably on the next set within a couple of hrs....awwww hell how can I defend that lol. That being said,i'm looking forward to Driven To Kill, which I orderd on blu-ray other day I read on IMDB that he's been approached for a part in Robert Rodriguez's Machete.Don't know how true that is.

I saw On Deadly Ground on tv not long ago, it hasn't had a UK release before?
Oh great, that'll be another ebay job in the future then!
What's the name of the one where he fights a rasta gang headed by Screwface?
I'm thinking Marked for Death, but I could be wrong as all his films' generic titles mush into one sometimes!
Seagal though, what a badass!!

Yeah that's Marked For Death.I watched it last night.Like a lot of Seagal's films it went through a title change. It was originally to be called Screwface. Some other early ones that went through title changes during filming or before release were:
Hard To Kill/Seven Year Storm
On Deady Ground/Rainbow Warrior
Under siege/Dreadnought
Out For Justice/The Price Of Our Blood.
And of course Above The Law which is know in the UK and other places as Nico

I also think most of his newer films have undergone title changes as well.

I love it in On Deadly Ground when he keeps imparting his mystical wisdom inbetween beating the crap out of the bully in the bar!
"what does it take to change the essence of a man?" * SMACK!*
Classic.

I highly recommend the book "Seagalogy:A Study of the Ass-Kicking Films Of Steven Seagal" by Vern.It reviews all his films up to and including "Pistol Whipped",both his cds,his adverts and his Lightning Bolt energy drink. It's a really funny read without ever looking down at the big man's work and that takes some doing.

I'd also recommend his cd "Songs from the Crystal Cave" gives Shatner and McCullum a run for their money.Until you've heard the big man sing really foul mouthed Jamaican dance hall songs you've not lived.

The man is a god in our house!

"Hard to Kill" where he plays Mason Storm.

Yeah, nice one! That's on my to get list now I know which one it is!
Another Seagal thing thats been bugging me is this. In the Will Ferrell comedy Stepbrothers, they are cheering as they watch a pretty bloody & brutal Seagal flick. What is it?
