Funny how you can go into a hundred charity shops a week for ten years and not find a book by Michael Moorcock and then walk into one almost on your doorstep and find three! I got a copy of "Warlord of the Air" and "The Steel Tsar", vols 1 and 3 of the original "Oswald Bastable Trilogy" (anyone have a spare vol 2, "The Land Leviathan"?), and "Casablanca", which I haven't seen before.

On a trip to the South Coast's best comic book shop, Room 237, to get my monthly "Iron Man" fix I also bought a copy of the latest instalment of LXG spinoff "Nemo". With the subtitle "The Roses of Berlin" it apears to contain references to "Metropolis", amongst other things. The first couple of pages seem to be written in German without translation for monoglots like me, I can only hope that the frequency of this lessens so that I will understand more than half of the book!

uploadfromtaptalk1400371019523.jpg £2 charity shop. I've still not found a single worthwhile film purchase in a charity shop but they're great for picking up books.

Just preordered the reprint of Stephen Throwers Nightmare USA book from Fab Press, due in August, for £31. It's at a discount price of £24.99 plus shipping at the minute as opposed to the £39.99 standard price. Not many copies left, so I'd hurry up if you want it at this price.

Cheers for the heads up, just ordered my copy. Shipping is pretty steep at £6.49 for second class. Worth it though to finally get this. I guess it's pretty heavy too. They are based in the UK right?

I have the paperback edition, which is nearly 30 cm high, 3.5 cm thick and 25 cm wide. It's also extremely heavy, but I couldn't tell you how much it weighs as I don't have any digital scales. As such, that postage is probably quite reasonable.
