I have the paperback edition, which is nearly 30 cm high, 3.5 cm thick and 25 cm wide. It's also extremely heavy, but I couldn't tell you how much it weighs as I don't have any digital scales. As such, that postage is probably quite reasonable.

As others have mentioned its VERY heavy. FAB Press also take great care with the choice of packing materials (including some rather nifty corner guards) to make sure it gets to you in the condition it left them. Less than the cover RRP including delivery is a fantastic price - fortunately I have a signed, numbered copy of the first printing (is there a gloat icon?).

Their recent release Sheer Filth is also fantastic!

I'm currently reading the latest Bill Bryson book, "One Summer: America 1927". A great read, love the way he manages to connect all the events and make the narrative flow from one topic to the next.

I've got Murakami's "Underground: The Tokyo Gas Attack and the Japanese Psyche" on its way too. Really looking forward to giving it a read.

"Aleister Crowley:Magick, Rock and Roll, and the Wickedest Man in the World" by Gary Lachman. Looks pretty good, just skimmed the introduction and Lachman seems to imply that the Beast was a bit of an arse and lacking as a human being. Which seems pretty fair once you remove all the glamour and school boy rebellion from Crowley.

Picked these two up today from Oxfam, £6 the pair, the Kung Fu book dates from '74 as the rise of martial arts movies in the west hit and less than a year after Bruce Lee passed away.

I used to borrow that Modern Horror Film book from my local library all the time as a kid, in fact I was only telling my girlfriend last night how the picture of Freddy on the front used to scare me, so I hid it under my bed every night after reading it ha ha.

I managed to find a copy a couple of years ago on eBay for a few quid, I couldn't wait to read it again when it arrived
