I'm not reading any books at the moment as I'm working my way through all the booklets which I didn't read immediately after watching the film – there's quite a pile of Criterion Collection BDs and DVDs, Digibooks and a couple of BFI releases.

Currently reading Christoper Stevens' biog of Kenneth Williams "Born Brilliant", which is certainly a revelation in places.....though i feel that there is still something to be revealed about this extremely complex man.
I also feel that the chap who edited the diaries & letters has shortchanged us all these years, presenting Ken as something of an asexual martinet, when the reality seems to impinge on this one note representation.

I know, really sad.

I'm currently re-working my way through one of his short stories collections.
Wes and Demoncrat like this.

Yep, Bradbury was a giant, and I'll second a recommendation for his short story collections - the scale of his imagination is breathtaking...

I'd also encourage folks seek out John Huston's 1956 film Moby Dick, whose screenplay Bradbury penned. Fantastic stuff...

Long days and nights we strained at the oars while a white whale swam freely on, widening the waters between himself and Ahab's vengeance...
