Got NBA LIVE today (EA Sports /PS3) and it really is a vast improvement over LIVE 09. You have to use last seasons stats till the 2010/11 NBA season tip's off in a few weeks then the *'Dynamic NBA DNA' system takes over and brings each player and team up to date with there real life counterparts, and then continues with daily updates till the end of the season in 2011 with the play off finals . This feature is activated via a code that comes with the game free of charge in UK and Europe, but US gamers have to pay extra for this feature. A really good game in everyway. *now available (summer friendly stat's.) Also picked up FIFA 09 today , so have started that as well . Another good game from EA Sports. (PS3) * FIFA 09 extra comentary available as free download. Both games are available for PS3/X360/Wii/PC/DS/PSP , as are all the titles in the EA Sports range. Who on here has a PS2? Does the UK get many UK exclusive/non US released games? |

Not really as the US is looked upon as a bigger market than the UK Gigantor , though the US PS2 seen more exclusives than the PS3 . The US (PS3/X360) still get more titles than the UK , though alot of these would have little UK appeal, ie Hunting games, College Sports etc, though some would have crossover appeal but they just never make it to the UK. (FPS, extreme sports, action games) Stoked, is due to get its UK debut, but according to the UK games mags this title is in its 3rd instalment in the US. All the major mainstream games would get US and UK releases, though the US would get these before us, even UK developed games like DIRT 2. Games like Cricket would remain UK exclusive, but Rally games, once the sole domain of Europe have become more Americanised (for the better imo) by introducing Ken Block, Dave Mirra and Traviss Pastranna , Rally X Games etc to make them appeal to the larger US market. Also a large % of games released would get a US release before a UK release. Japan would get more releases than the US and UK, though alot of the extra games would be aimed with only the Japanese market in mind and would have no Western appeal. Bought myself BURN ZOMBIE BURN (PS3) from the Playstation Network and I've found myself addicted to the game. For those of you who like top down arcade shoot 'em ups such as Smash TV then I would advise that you check out this game.

Im waiting for 'Borderlands' and Smackdown 10. I just hope the RPG eliment of Borderlands is'nt as deep as the markers are claiming and its mainly a FPS, as I cant play RPG's, even though I'd really love to . They're abit above my head unfortunately. That Marvel Alliance 2 looks good Gigantor. When you start playing post your thoughts on it. |
