Points well spent. A nasty, vile film that's never looked better. Also love the artwork on that cover.

Yeah it really looks pristine, moreso than Sunrise and Metropolis. Although many scenes from the well preserved stock in Metropolis are near perfect too. These silent movies really get a new lease of life in HD.

Boogie Nights and Black Death BRs were a gift from the missus whilst we wandering around Winchester on Sunday morning, and Jerry Springer: The Opera was a Poundland find in Winchester too.
I nipped into Fopp today to ask them to remove one of those weird red security tags that stops you from opening a DVD case as they neglected to do so on one of my purchases from last week, so whilst I was there it seemed not pick something up so I went for another BFI Flipside BR; Herostratus.

Also my Liquid Sky poster managed to find it's way from the States to these fair shores after I won it on eBay a while ago. :)

"The Cremator" is a fantastic film.:)

Currently waiting for a few Video Nasties to pop through my letterbox, including the recent region 1 releases of Nightmares in a Damaged Brain and Mardi Gras Massacre.

Can't wait to get my hands on Arrow's releases of Demons 1 & 2, and Shameless' Four Flies on Grey Velvet.

Nice purchases, Phurious. I meant to record Mark Cousins' History of Film, but forgot and so will now check the TV listings to see if it's repeated.

Cheers. The last four episodes are on 4OD, but my fingers are crossed that it'll be released in the new year on DVD or Blu.

Never heard of THE OUTSIDER'S before but what a great cast. Matt Dillon (not to be confused with the 10million times less talented Matt Damon :p) is one of my favourite modern actors. It also stars Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise and Diane Lane! Some 80s legends there!

The Outsiders is brilliant.
