Ask yourself this - how many of the films would you buy individually?

Just ordered LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE (German release) THE ASPHYX & Eureka's BURMESE HARP and UGETSU MONOGATARI. Don't know much about the latter (or its director Mizoguchi) except from what I gleaned from reading all the glowing reviews on amazon and IMDB + its based on an ancient Japanese ghost story so I thought it must be worth a blind buy.

Also pre-ordered:

Lady Snowblood steelbook (arrow)
Cleopatra steelbook (eureka)
Mabuse steelbook (eureka)
Rumble Fish steelbook (eureka)

They're all far off releases but hopefully amazon's price may fluctuate a bit in the meantime and I'll end up paying less.

apparently its got the artificial grain, excessive dnr and some distrotions near the edges of the screens, I usually take this stuff with a pinch of salt but even the bfi themselves had complaints.
