I have a laser disc of Pink Flamingos and the Ed Wood collection II, Glen or Glenda & Bride of the Monster. I just don't have a player, they just look so pretty.

Coming in on the whole pants debate. I'm confused myself, I use pants and trousers, I think it all depends on the fit but saying that I think a lot of people around my age grew up with Trev and Simon's "Swing Your Pants", maybe that's when pants took over.

It's the same as LP's, even if the artwork is crap, they just look so much nicer than dvds and blu-rays.

I've lived in Yorkshire all of my life and have never heard a single soul use what appears to be a very obvious American term. Round here they are referred to as kecks, britches or trousers. We use the word pants to refer to underwear.

I apologise for asking about thirty pages ago who the woman was on the Covert Affairs dvd cover.

That was the catalyst for this entire discussion.

My friend's husband is from Yorkshire, and he and his family say pants all the time!

Just goes to show the variety of language and terminology differences within regions.
