I wonder if this means they are thinking of putting the 6 origonal film out on HD. If so I'll be a little annoyed as I only just shelled out for the newly restored dvds.

I may have to get this Shogun Assassin blu for the extras though.....

Wouldn't surprise me if they're using the same master as Animeigo if the extras are pretty much the same too. Could be a while yet before we see any more.

Wild at Heart - 25 October.

A movie that Nic Cage is actually good in

Plus, one that's surely at the top of stevoj's shopping list: Dirty Dancing

I love Wild at Heart but have been putting off buying the DVD known it was going to be released on Blu-ray at some point -- and that time is now!

Haha, you would think so..... but no. I may get it sometime though. Wild At Heart, now that's a different matter altogether. It's a very close tie between this and Blue Velvet as my favourite David Lynch film. And even better is the fact that we get the uncensored version here instead of the tamed down U.S. version with the smoke added to a certain scene!

If honest id don't think blu ray is gonna catch on too soon because they're not exactly gonna start releasing bad films. Only the best.

Well wouldn't it catch on if they released the best?

Much nicer cover than the U.S. one which I already have so I won't be double dipping.
