Cool, so they'll be region free then

I only saw the original for the first time when Arrow released it, and loved it! I know Larry Cohen likes one of the sequels but hates the other, not sure which . . . ?

That's a good question. The company who owns the films (First Look Pictures) wouldn't let them release separate BD's and dvds, just combo's, or no dvds, since they still have their own dvds in print, but hopefully they didn't tell Blue Underground to region lock the discs.

I would hope they're region-free. They're both directed by Lustig so he'd have a vested interest in shifting as many copies as possible, so I'm guessing he'll want the region-free option.

I'm sure he will, but not his decision unfortunately. Guess we'll need to wait and see.

Sounds like The Visitor will be making it's way to blu ray! The original one sheet art is still one of my favorites.

Wow, that sounds very interesting, never heard of it! Three cool directors in the cast (...and Shelley Winters)? Count me in . . .

Oh, so not the 2007 film with Richard Jenkins! I haven't seen the 1979 film called The Visitor, but it sounds pretty good.
