The new daughter, starring Kevin costner.

Dont laugh, its actually really bloody good indeed.

Basically a slow burning lovcraftian monster movie set in the deep south, surprisingly subtle with a very creepy ending.

Probably the best thing costner has been in for years.

Get ready, Daemonia. The torture chamber is waiting for you:

I'm just off fetching my cat o' nine tails... where is it? Well, I'll transfer you to a well-known colleague, who will "handle" you (without care!):

Greetings!

I treated myself to yet another viewing of "The Mist". I love this film. It's certainly one of my favourite King adaptations (possibly THE favourite).

Watched the Sandra Bullock film, Premonition last night. Bit confusing at times but quite a good film with a few twists, which weren't that hard to predict 7/10

I've tried to watch this a couple of times but just can't seem to get in to it, perhaps another try is due.

Watched "Candyman" for the first time in years, still very good though it has lost the power to scare the shit out of me like it did back on it's cinema release when there was only myself and one other person in the cinema.

For anyone who hasn't seen them BBC 2 are showing the excellent Ginger Snaps, Ginger Snaps Unleashed and Ginger Snaps The Beginning over the next three nights starting tonight.

Three excellent werewolf films, the first two set in the modern day with the third set in the 19th century. Highly recommended, and no advert breaks.
